I for one hope it doesn't degenerate into a bidding war. The only winners will be TAM shareholders.
I own both NST and MLX so would rather see MLX walk away and look for a better deal and seal it up more securely prior to inviting counter-offers through public disclosure.
I am seeing more and more consolidation happening in the industry as the cashed up, cash generative producers gobble up the minnows. There are many more minnows around for MLX - don't waste additional cash on TAM to outbid NST !!
