Here is a comment from an interview from a MMPR user

Taking on a larger client base than you have product for is irresponsible and absolutely unacceptable in an industry such as this. They clearly had no contingency plan in place for such a scenario. They should have been able to do forecasts to prevent this from happening. The MMPR should exist to provide access and not to profit corporations. Uruguay’s legalization model charges 1$ per gram and until the Canadian market starts matching prices like that I do not believe this can be considered reasonable access.
