    Hi @Milanese68

Thanks for the comments and yes, it always does feel nice whenever anyone appreciates my comments with a “like” or chooses to follow my comments. Very much appreciated and many thanks to everyone who liked my comments and followed me.

I don’t consider myself as a graphite specialist but more of a macro guy / an overview guy / a big picture guy. My favorite commodity right now in fact is not graphite but gold, although I hardly comment as much on it.

IMHO @Pauldola is a fantastic example of someone who sees a bigger picture and has hence hung onto his TON investment through thick and thin. Although Pauldola mainly comments on TON, I’d read his comments on any other investment as I know he’d have already thought of what might happen years later.

Someone else who sees the bigger picture is @huckle Although he has not commented that much on TON, IMHO, he definitely sees things which might happen years later.

    Global conglomerate in the making

Above is his most recent comment yesterday where he talks of what could unfold 3-6 months later, to be there 2-3 years later, and the fact that TON is a global conglomerate in the making

Comparisons to PDN and FMG; merger with SYR,etc.

Above (April 9), Huckle talks of how an old investment he made for 1.8 c was eventually taken over by the Chinese for $8.65. He also mentions PDN and FMG. He also talks of a possible future merger with SYR, future value of vanadium etc.

    Benefits of long term investing

Above Huckle talks of the value of long term investing and gives examples of his investments in BHP @4.1 and TLS @1.9 and CBA @4.3 and also mentions PDN and FMG. We all know what BHP, TLS and CBA are worth since then.

Long term investing – Oct 2013

Above is Huckle’s comment on 21/10/13 where his disclosure on TON at 6.3c was held and sentiment of Long term buy. This proves that everything else he has also said is genuine. He has only posted 147 comments over so much time which shows that like he says, he is genuinely a long term investor not concerned with day to day fluctuations and proving his investment approach to anyone.

    My approach -

I share a lot of thoughts with Huckle and believe that long term investment in fundamentally intrinsically undervalued long term growth gems like TON is a great and relaxed way of investing. This way, you can do your thorough research and just spend the rest of your time on the beach, instead of frantically sitting on the computer during trading hours, hunting every cent. But I won't deny that DT and STT also have their merits and IMHO, if that is one's strength, then they should definitely play according to their strengths.

In my only meeting with BB, I remember told him that the real returns from TON will probably come around 2017-2018 or later.

Like Huckle, in my earliest comment on TON, I mentioned FMG and PDN. These are good charts to see what a commodity company can do when they are taking off. I’m not talking about their current price but the massive movement as they were taking off in the last decade

Like Huckle, I too have talked in detail last month about how eventual merger with SYR will make massive sense for both companies. Since, I see things in that light, talks of how there will be a massive graphite surplus in the future don’t concern me at all.

I’ve briefly touched on how a graphite bubble might come about in future due to super strong graphene products, solar, batteries, electric vehicles, and scramble for gigafactories by big tech companies.

At the end of the day, TON holding the world’s largest graphite deposit is valued at a little more than 100 million dollars. In my first analysis, I commented this to other mega commodity deposits and showed how ridiculous this was.

Some of the above, may or may not happen but it will only take 1 or 2 of them to happen for a 42 c valuation to look downright ridiculous as we look at TON in the years to come. I am hoping that one or more might materialize.

To conclude, I won’t deny that there could be great trading opportunities with TON, but I’ve got massive FOMO of ever booking any profits in TON. Of course, I could be completely wrong, and strongly advise everyone to do their own thorough research, play to their own strengths, etc. At the end of the day, everyone knows what approach suits them best.

I hope everyone is having a great weekend. Cheers
