I suspect the DTs have been burnt by the recent volatility and the risk/benefit equation is no longer in their favour to continue pump and dump. The behaviour in the SP has been interesting to see in the past 3-4 months, certainly a reflection of psychology of certain shareholders (DT and ST) in general, i.e.

- SP rise
- FOMO, so let's buy in
- oh look at it skyrocket, let's buy MORE AT THE TOP!
- HOLY crap, it's tanking and I've just lost 50%.
- Oh its bottoming out and rising again, maybe I can recoup my losses
- FOMO, so let's buy in again.
- oh look at it skyrocket AGAIN, let's buy MORE at the top!
- HOLY crap, it's tanking AGAIN and I've just lost ANOTHER 50%.
- I AM OUT of this horrible company.....
- Sold at a loss and never touching this again.
