I am a part owner of 88E and I am pleased to see that new investors are providing funds for my company to drill a fully owned well in Alaska in a couple of months.
Without this new money we would not be able to fund the well or we would have been forced to give away half the field in exchange for drilling funding.
Sure we had to make the fund raising interesting, but it's a tough market with lots of opportunity for those with cash so we had to get their attention.
I am reasonably satisfied, though I can't be sure, that the share price will recover quickly and accomplish new highs before October 15. Those who feel badly about the cash raising will all be able to leave with a profit. Those who missed out will probably get some more shares a little lower.
Great Gear have been very quiet and it's time for news on Alkaid 1. Don't be out when that happens.
