What hypocrisy from Westpac.
Why do they not stop lending to alcohol, cigarette, casino and gambling companies (Crown, Woolies, TAB, Tatts etc etc).
Its just ridiculous.
I must say though, management have not done shareholders any favors, They have a poor record of treating the small shareholder and who knows what the principal shareholder ezcorp thinks of all this. Management settled the NSW class action and and seem to have been completely blindsided by this QLD move. I have no confidence they are going to fight. Will settle and then we all will have to wait for the next skeleton to stumble out of this increasingly spoilt cabinet!
Poor form all around.
