As a fellow long term holder, I can vouch for the rarity of trading halts in regards to the release of price sensitive information. The last one I can remember of significance was the black day a couple of years ago that the wheels fell off. Needless to say this one led me to double check my contacts in the business, and whilst I haven't got any information around the expected announcement I am assured it is supposed to be good news.
Here's hoping it is finally a big announcement that shifts this thing up a few gears and gets the price moving finally and not just confirmation of already expected news
