I am not sure, but the request was pretty much word for word to the last company request from Melanie Farris before the March CR. If it was a partnership announcement why wouldn't she say it.
Very disappointing if it is not a strategic investment, given the reason for the CR in March was to position the company for a near term strategic partnership. If they are proposing to go back to the market, I hope that it is at a significant premium given how much more the company is worth now to 6 months ago. After all, the reason given for the last CR was 'to seek to maximize shareholder value to negotiate a strategic investment or partnership in 6 months. ' At the very least, I hope they get the funds they require from the US where biotech valuations are a little more realistic ( latest analyst report values Invion at 12 cents a share before phase 2 results).
Any CR that's not at a significant premium will not reflect well on managment. However, I remain optimistic.
