"UPDATE Tuesday 10.25am: Contractor NRW Holdings has had a win in its Roy Hill project payments dispute.
A Supreme Court judge today made an order for project manager Samsung C&T to pay NRW $17.5 million.
Justice Mitchell dismissed Samsung's application for a judicial review of a contract adjudicator's determination.
He granted NRW leave to enforce the determination.
The payment is among a number of outstanding claims NRW has made against Samsung over a $620 million rail earthworks contract at Gina Rinehart's iron ore project in the Pilbara.
NRW put its shares in a trading halt yesterday ahead of two judgments related to the dispute.
Both cases have a combined value of $26 million, NRW said.
Today's judgment said Samsung had paid NRW $560 million to date and withheld $93 million.
NRW shares are in a trading halt, having last changed hands for 9.2 cents."
