jero - funny you should say that as I am just back from meeting an old mate with some truffles on his "farmlet" down south, he is only in year 3 though so some way to go yet for fame and fortune...
straws is the man of refinement and distinction with a taste for truffles etc, he will wander by and offer a recipe at some stage for soup with truffles or similar
best I ever had was shaved truffles on ice cream at Rabac on east coast of Istrian peninsula in Croatia, absolutely wonderful
if we can get HLX to 20c in time for 2016 AGM I should be able to round up some truffles for the masses who attend
