Aaahhh! SF your back with words of wisdom. I totally agree with you. People whinged when the SP went down. The whinged when the consolidation was announced. They whinged when the consolidation was completed. Strange how no one or at least very few whinged when the SP went up post consolidation.
As you said: "The share consolidation made it more attractive for big investors to come in."
Now there is a potential of a big investor joining.....Guess what?
We're all back to whinging.
A trading halt is great as far as i can determine. Give it time, Keep calm, have a long cool drink and wait for the news.
