I'm going to make a bald (but hopefully wrong) call and say the banks are going to enforce. My guess is Ferrier Hodgson will be appointed Receivers and someone else as Administrators (to stop landlords stepping in and kicking DSH out of their stores).

If I had a gift card for DSH which wasn't bought with a credit card (and therefore not protected by being able to charge the gift card cost back to my credit card provider) I'd be looking to use it in store now just to be safe if the worst were to happen.

For the record - my comments are purely speculation only and I am in no way involved with DSH, the bankers or anyone else associated with this situation.
