Well, the fire sale(s) aren't a bad thing... if they used this as an opportunity to fix their product offering into things that move off the shelves at a profit, and get rid of junk that never sells and costs money to have sitting there.
I was attacked here for suggesting that the chadstone store was near empty a few weeks before xmas- which it was, because I was physically there looking at it! While JBH was packed to the rafters.
They need, if they aren't about to go into liquidation, to find a point in the market. Not just be a poor man's JB without the DVDs that people do actually buy.
