That is nice logic, but I believe you have made one mistake.
If you read guidance note 14 from the ASX you will find out about the Market Announcements Office (MAO) which is a business unit of the ASX responsible for receiving, processing, releasing and storing market announcements by or about ASX listed entities and the issuers of other ASX quoted products.
This guidance note states:
The presentation is at 2:40pm South African time which is 11:40 AEDT. So, the announcement can be made after the MAO has stopped processing announcements and may appear before market open tomorrow.
