Progress and status stand out to me.
Progress means that we have moved forward. Something has advanced and progress is generally positive.
Status seems to imply that the well is at a certain stage and there is more to do. Maybe they are at the bottom of the well and are testing.
Anyhow they have all the Easter break to get it done and come back to us with good news on Tuesday morning
