and they're happy to squeeze....the best solution for a company is to raise early before they desperately need funds and to raise at an opportune time (like the MD of WIN did during a drill campaign and price spike) .
A bloke I respect enormously once told me the first responsibility of the MD of any listed company was to always make sure the company has sufficient funds .
