I think electricity doubters need to understand supply and demand. You cant ramp up oil production with noone to sell to. All you achieve is further market dilution driving prices down. The best trump can do is put a tariff on imported oil or subsidise local production...however those numbers wont stack up for long as taxing the people to susidise them is a snake eating its tail. Oils not dead its just not the only option anymore and at $50 a barrel for the forseable future id say not a great economy starter.
