By way of comparison, Dakota's resource was 7.3 Mt @ 1.25% Li2O. Using the same metrics as above, this would have produced USD$730M revenue. They flogged that off to PLS presumably because they did not see value in developing the resource further.

Yes your calculations are wrong ......todays extraction rate is globally about 25,000 tonne .
demand will increase faster then supply , so the extraction rate would have to increase to meet demand so the price will rise based on supply and demand ....also the higher the cost to recover will restrict many companies and price them out of the market ..this will be the down fall of many companies
the one that springs to mind CXO also i would suggest $800 per tonne .
