Senex are working on an infrastructure deal to use the water storage and raw gas processing facility that GLNG owns at Wullimbilla....so Senex do NOT need a processing facility at this stage.....(I am not certain as to spare capacity at Wullimbilla though.
Major pipeline, like Arrow would need to construction would take atleast 3 years to complete.....look at timeframes of both Origins and Santos pipeline..I think Arrow need a 600km pipeline to bring gas down from their field in the Bowen Basin.....as this takes time.
Santos are short of gas by mid next year. The domestic market is short on gas now.
That's why Senex has done their deal with EIG, to be first to market to fill that void and fulfil their 50Tj per day contract with Santos....which Santos will happily buy and run through their Gladstone plant.
I acknowledge Arrow's large untapped gas is a risk to market supply...but not until 2020...even if they started today. By then the shortage of gas is expected to be 400pj pa .... so plenty of space for them to enter the market then.
