That pretty much sums it up aussie, well said. Plenty a great mine has been destroyed by poor management. The reason behind this TH may only be a small issue when viewed in isolation, however there is a theme developing which I don't like.

I know you can't compare gold mine against gold mine directly as they have certain anomalies that are unique, however I've worked at Lihir Island, Ok Tedi, Porgera (and a few smaller operations), and it buckets down at each of those places relentlessly and rarely do they get a delay due to wet weather. It's called management.

I certainly won't be throwing out the baby with the bathwater but this lot need to be more transparent and more accountable. It's not their money, it's not their mine.....it's ours. A fact lost on too many management teams these days.
