Trading Halt Request In accordance with ASX Listing Rule 17.1, Sirtex Medical Limited (Company) requests an immediate trading halt in the shares of the Company. The trading halt is requested to provide the Company sufficient time to review and assess the implications on the business of the soon to be released clinical data relating to the SIRFLOX/FOXFIRE/FOXFIRE Global and SIRveNIB clinical studies at the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Annual Meeting in Chicago, Illinois, USA. The Company believes that this information will be material. The Company requests that the trading halt remain in place until the earlier of an announcement to the market or the commencement of normal trading on Friday, 19th May 2017. The Company is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted, nor is it aware of any other information necessary to inform the market about the trading halt.
