REQUEST FOR TRADING HALT
Central Petroleum Limited (ASX:CTP) (
Company
) requests an immediate trading halt be
granted for all of its securities.
In accordance with Listing Rule 17.1, the Company advises:
the trading halt is requested pending the Company seeking approval from the Supreme
Court of Queensland to provide shareholders with supplementary disclosure materials
to the Scheme Booklet dated 28 April 2017 and to postpone the Scheme Meeting;
the trading halt is requested to apply until the earlier of the commencement of normal
trading on Wednesday, 31 May 2017 or the release by the Company of an
announcement in connection with the supplementary disclosure; and
the Company is not aware of any reason why a trading halt should not be granted.
