REQUEST FOR TRADING HALT
Central Petroleum Limited (ASX: CTP) (Company) requests an immediate trading halt be granted for all of its securities.

In accordance with Listing Rule 17.1, the Company advises:

the trading halt is requested pending the Company seeking approval from the
Supreme Court of Queensland to provide shareholders with supplementary
disclosure materials to the Scheme Booklet dated 28 April 2017
and the Supplementary Scheme Booklet dated 31 May 2017 and to postpone the Scheme Meeting .
This is a consequence of the recent release of the Gas Pipeline Information Disclosure and Arbitration Framework by the Gas Market Reform Group on 5 June 2017, as a result of which it is necessary for EY to consider the impact
, if any, on the valuation of the Company set out in the Independent Expert's Report
(contained in the Scheme Booklet dated 28 April 2017)

the trading halt is requested to apply until the earlier of a release by the Company of an announcement in connection with the supplementary disclosure, or the commencement of normal trading on Friday, 9 June
