Unfortunately there are some very naive posters on this thread. There will be a big exit from Tanzanian stocks when they start trading again.
You can argue all you like about Tanzania wanting these projects to succeed but ultimately it is foreign money that is required. When there is uncertainty about mining legislation the risks go up significantly and funding becomes expensive, more selective or withdraws completely.
These companies haven't been properly consulted and that's a big part of the problem. The bills were rushed through parliament and now everyone is trying to determine how they are impacted and you are kidding yourself if you think Volt is immune.
Volt doesn't have any money and will be trying to find working capital at arguably the worst time in the last 2 years. Be careful.
