The whole legislative change debacle has been shocking, but someone dumping at 1.2c today? Over reaction IMHO. Tanga has done some great work, has a bunch of gold at Winston and 1000sqkm of highly prospective ground.

The Tanz govt claiming an additional 16% is a blow should Tanga start mining in future. But ultimately the govt needs projects like Tanga to succeed if they want income and want to retain power, and now the govt has a massive incentive to allow Tanga and similar others to get up and running. And given they've no doubt scared off a lot of investment they'll be desperate for remaining projects stay and bring money in. Who knows, as companies pack up and leave Tanz it could well create an environment ripe for big concessions for those staying (all done quietly of course to keep the "we're tough on rich businesses" mantra in the minds of Tanz voters...).

Let's see what Bowles and Moses can do from here. Bring some magic.
