"In accordance with Listing Rule 17.1 Beacon Minerals Limited (Beacon) requests that the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) grant a trading halt on Beacon’s securities with immediate effect. For the purpose of Listing Rule 7.1, Beacon provides the following information: (a) Beacon is seeking the trading halt due to a proposed capital raising. (b) Beacon requests that the trading halt last until Beacon makes an announcement to the market about the proposed capital raising. Beacon expects the trading halt will be required for a period not exceeding the commencement of trading on the second day following the date of this request, in accordance with ASX Listing Rule 17.1.1, as the announcementregarding the capitalraising will likely be made before the commencement of normal trade on 10 July 2017. (c) Beacon is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted, nor of any other information available at this stage that is relevant to the trading halt.
