TRADING HALT REQUEST Structural Monitoring Systems plc (ASX: SMN) hereby makes application for a trading halt of its securities. In accordance with Listing Rule 17.1, the Company advises: • The reason for the request is to facilitate an orderly market in the Company’s securities pending an announcement regarding the completion of a capital raising to fund a material acquisition. • The Company wishes the trading halt to remain in place until the earlier of such time as it makes the Announcement, or the commencement of trading on 8 November 2017; and • The Company is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted, or of any information necessary to inform the market or ASX about the trading halt.
