It is perfectly normal for the two day gap from trading halt to the announcement I recognise that. But why and what happens in that period. I understand the fundamentals but still cant grasp the time gap. I would believe that all the legalities would be in place at the time of the halt. Is it just to allow the company to word their announcement?
