two colleagues of mine, of an older vintage, both worked at Bellevue back in the 90s. It was interesting to hear what they had to say on the place. 1 spoke of 'the doomed' 13 level which had problems with mining (geotechnical I believe) and that was the final level they worked on before moving site. Great talk of old mining methods that are now extinct due to safety issues that they raise, great knowledge to hear about though for a young automated miner like myself. The second spoke of the largest ever pay he saw for an airlegger there, 2 months of prep work at around $300-400 a shift and then caboom, a bumper panel that earned him $2500 per shift... an interesting and RICH heritage it would appear.
