After doing some checking, my guess, and that's all it is, is that this 'dispute' over a Non-disclosure agreement relates to the Veeco collaboration.
If you recall when Ian Mann presented at the WUPP conference in Nov (refer preso dated 8/11) most of that info appeared to have come from the Veeco collaboration as well as their foundry work.
I don't believe it relates to nachers' discovery of the Lumileds Patent application, as it appears to relate to "methods used".... "...METHODS FOR USING REMOTE PLASMA CHEMICAL VAPOR DEPOSITION (RP-CVD) AND SPUTTERING DEPOSITION TO GROW LAYERS IN LIGHT EMITTING DEVICES"
Time will tell. Hopefully we shall know more in the next day or so...... Lets hope it gets clarified and resolved quickly.
