I do not see any value in it either, in my opinion.

Real Estate sales is a very cash intensive business today, and if you don't have a decent rent roll to support you, you have nothing.

Cash costs are massive right now and turnovers are still very low, especially in markets like WA where these two businesses are at their largest.

Furthermore, the legislative changes about to come into force next year with regard to minimum wages for real estate sales people will have a massive impact on cash flows.

Remember, the average sales person is lucky to sell 8-12 homes a year, and there are a lot of average sales people out there in the marketplace. (Million dollar agents are far and few between).
