TRADING HALT
The securities of Updater Inc. (the “Company”) will be placed in Trading Halt Session State at the request of
the Company, pending the release of an announcement by the Company. Unless ASX decides otherwise, the
securities will remain in Trading Halt Session State until the commencement of normal trading on
Wednesday, 6 December 2017 or when the announcement is released to the market.

Updater Inc. – Request for Trading Halt
Pursuant to ASX Listing Rule 17.1, Updater Inc. (Updater) requests a trading halt in respect of
Updater’s CHESS Depositary Interests with immediate effect.
In accordance with Listing Rule 17.1, Updater advises:
(a) the reason for the request is to facilitate an orderly market in the company's securities
pending an anticipated announcement by the company regarding material results of Pilot
Program testing (Results Announcement);
(b) Updater wishes the trading halt to remain in place until the earlier of such time as it makes the
Result Announcement, or the commencement of trading on 6 December 2017; and
(c) Updater is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted, or of any
information necessary to inform the market or ASX about the trading halt.
