I hope so too. Announcing a cap raise 1 week out from Christmas is just baffling, unless it is a placement to a significant investor.

1.7 cents is not far off the 2.0 cent exercise price for the options issued in the last placement too. If they were after a couple of million for ongoing costs they could work to get the SP over the strike price, that's why I'm hoping it is for specific project expenditure, rather than just ongoing company costs. If they announced they needed an additional 4 million to fund their end of an imminent drill program, I'd be more likely to put my hand in my wallet.
