Since there isn't too much to talk about until the announcement comes out on Tuesday, I just thought I'd add a little hype to the hype train.
Above is the front page for MPE on HotCopper. Do you think any company in their right mind would put up "Significant Tulainyo Update," the date its coming out and then "watch this space" if they weren't absolutely certain they were onto something huge?
I mean if this isn't huge news, then old mate Featherby might want to cut those luscious locks; because he won't be able to hide if this is a flop. What we KNOW right now is that there is CERTAINLY gas in the ground; all we had to do was ensure the appraisal well didn't go balls up - which by the looks of things hasn't. For a lot of us here it has been a long wait for the rig to get on site, but the wait is starting to pay off. I'm happy management took the cautious route to ensure they waited for the right rig to get the job done, and didn't just go for what was quickest - even though it has been frustrating as a shareholder at times.
Personally, I don't hold a huge amount of shares, but considering this is my first truly speculative stock of this kind, I still consider myself quite lucky as I know plenty of these types of stocks go belly up.
