    yes, thats the process as far as I know. The ASX checks each announcement, and any queries are addressed prior to release.
    Of course, it is important that ASX does not check the veracity of the announcement. Thats ASIC job after the event.

    I know that companies cannot make announcements for minor matters.
    So every time YOW gets a new customer, they cannot make an announcement.
    It has to be "material".
    There are all sorts of rules re announcements, particularly for mining and O&G coys. example is wrt reserves etc.
