Because a lot of us have been around the block (many times) with mxc and know this will open to about a 12-13 max range, sit for an hour and then start to fall back to 10-11 by middle afternoon. After a while you get to intimately know a stock and how it moves on news. It's quite strange, but alas allows you (for the most part) to make some small profit parcels on the side whilst still holding a large packet. Imo, obviously.
