Corporate protocol would dictate that the corporation applying for certification which usually requires some sort of application fee would be notified of the success or otherwise of the application. Its then made public by the corporation at the BOD's discretion, rather than by public notice by the grantor. This is normal business practise. When a company applies for a permit to undertake certain works, does the company need to continually check the authorities website to see if it has been granted? If you apply for a drivers licence do you find out whether you have passed by reading it as a public notice on the transport authorities website?
