Doesn't mean anything at all. Just someone getting pole position in the case of good news. Means that person is first in the queue anywhere up to 3c. Would be nice to think that they won't get hit, but..well....for all we know, IAM could announce CBA and NAB and AMP and the price still might not explode instantly.

Sometimes it takes time for market movers to start doing the moving. I've seen too many earth shattering announcements met with a shrug. People get upset and sell out and then some time later the stock is heading at high velocity to the stratosphere and beyond. Would like to read the announcement first and then start dreaming about my private island at some stage in the future but it might not be tomorrow.

But who knows, I have been wrong before. Many, many times.
