Off topic slightly, but since we aren't trading it seems okay,
It's funny how a small little thing like a fortune cookie, that perfectly fits the current situation you are in, resembles the good that will come, I'm a miner, been doing FIFO since I was 18, never did I think back then I could be in the stock market or play this game, that I wasn't good enough to do it.
2016 after 6 long and painful years my ex left me on my birthday while I was away at work.... house together, thankfully no kids... with her. And I thought yup it's all gone all I have worked for, seeing as I knuckled down since I was 18, built a house before I was 21, travelled the world... with my ex (all on my expense) that's another story....
A month after it all happened, I met my new partner, it was by fate, one day later I would of never met her. She taught me to take risks, achieve my goals, and put myself out there, so I studied like crazy, stock market, investing, read countless books, I started investing, and again by luck, I stumbled across a FB page of like minded investors and someone mentioned AUZ back in the 1.5c days last year in April. So I did my DD my study, and I took the leap of faith, and invested, along with some other investments.
Back to my old story, I had to sell my house, pay my ex out... lost it all, walked away with zero to show.. for 6 years...
Fast forward today, I'm nearly debt free, my first child is due in 3 months, and in a few years time if all my investments go well and to plan, I'll purchase another home cash.. even my tax accountant commented on my portfolio for a person who has only traded for a year and a bit. Even he said was impressive...
My point Im getting at, and I harp on about it, is patience and time, and Faith,
I'm no day trader I earn to much to play that game, I'm investing in my future, my family's future and my retiremet (early if all keeps going to plan)
As I'll be sleeping all day tomorrow, being on nightshift, I hope it's a cracker of a day, and everyone remembers this one family motto I have,
"We haven't even started yet"
