Lets remember BIG do not have to answer to AFR. They only need to respond to the ASX Aware letter. I feel AFR are getting way too much noise and clout here and it is almost like BIG need to respond to their claims which is not the case.
My take is BIG are contracted to supply a service to the customer over 12 months. If the customer chooses to they can use finance through FCC to pay for those services over the 12 months (BIG are paid upfront by FCC. The customer pays FCC). If BIG were to default on supplying those services the customer would naturally cease paying FCC. As a normal business practice FCC have a charge over BIG Review TV which can be called if the services are not provided to the customer.
We will know once BIG respond but please stop all the hypothetical doomsday scenerios until we hear from the company.
