Suspect you are right @arneneo - but, they need a strong balance sheet to get credibility to be able to do what they want to do in Bougainville. Clearly very disappointing share price at this stage and we'll all cop some considerable dilution.  But, imo, they might as well bite the bullet, get it done and then move forward.  Otherwise, irrespective of the great track record of the management team, "the opposition" will continuously refer to RTG as a tinpot company. With good management AND a lot of dollars in the kitty, RTG becomes hard to overlook by anyone.  Let's just bite the bullet and move on.
