    The request says it is 'pending an announcement to be made by the Company regarding joint venture approvals'.

    I doubt this is of such importance a Trading Halt is needed; am willing to be wrong.

    Macquarie are bankers, not oilers. They are obliged to delegate the management of Mereenie to CTP. If the matter was a GSA or pipeline agreement, the release would have been worded differently.

    RC has form for calling Trading Halts at the drop of a hat. A cheap and useful way to draw attention to CTP.

    All good. We will learn more Tuesday.
