All the best to you Bob. Badly burned with ABU too and also no longer hold anymore. Gave up on them even that one day they might still make the grade. Still can't figure out the stuff up or deception at Old Pirate/Golden Hind. Where did all those high grade pie in the sky near surface drill hits go? Were they genuine hits, and is the gold still there ready for a more competent dig, or was it just a con job? If the latter there really should be an ASX inquiry and they should be in jail. ASX is littered with similiar train wrecks, and hard to get too excited about any so called high grade discoveries anymore. Management excelling at their jobs and effectively getting a discovery to the profitable mining stage is all that counts in the end.
Where are the Delta Golds "Kanowna Belle" type discoveries of old?
Off topic there was much excitement from the Karratha/Pilbara Conglomerate gold discovery late in 2017. Looked so good and dug a few ounces myself before Novo closed it off in September, but 6 ton sampling results being withheld now for too long which is spooking some pundits. From my take boots on the ground in 2017 this discovery seems very real to me with a multitude of 2016/2017 detector digs and small crowbar hand dug pits littered all over the hills, and they still left plenty behind too. It seemed like we were back in the gold hungry depression years of old with teams of diggers digging well into the night all around our camp with their Minelabs busy continually beeping on the spoils. Being a Pilbara Miner of old what's your take on the Purdy's Comet Well conglomerate gold. Have you seen it for yourself? Too my mind there has to be something there on a Pilbara wide scale linking up with identical so called flat melon seed conglomerate gold at the rich old mining centre at Egina. Also found similiar on the vertical schist hills at Croydon Top Camp with more recent reported melon seed gold discoveries at Loudens Well, and in the Marble bar belt. Looks like evidence of a widespread, or pre existing? flat lying Pilbara wide conglomerate sequence to my mind and should this prove to be the case in the years ahead I think will put the Pilbara back into the spotlight again maybe like shades of the original Iron Ore boom.
If it does the interesting bit will be there will be lots more ground opened up with new tracks and 40e permit ground to still swing the Minelab about on my next trip back to my old Pilbara stamping ground. A little more real gold in the hand will seem so much better than holding ASX junior mining scrip where many seem to only mine their shareholders. Have only now a couple left after many burns along the way, still hopeful on these coming good, but after so much pain along the way and wasting of life savings will likely be my last.
Anyway good to catch up and hope there are some better days ahead before they run out! and would really appreciate your view on this current conglomerate gold hunt. With the coming exploration season approaching should hope things will fire up big time stirring things up and stoking the fires again. Even if I have to read about it from afar.

Great question Mamba.
Would not surprise me if the mine was set up wrong for the type of ore.
Orinocco Gold OGX. has had a similar history where spectacular grades suddenly disappeared resulting in a near collapse of the company. Craig Dawson was in charge of mining and it wasnt until a new man took over with a new approach that things have turned around and the gold has reappeared.
We gave up without a wimper. Wouldn't even accept the offer of free help. Total arrogance.
Get the right crew and it would be profitable.
I was a top 30 holder at one stage and lucky to escape with anything.
If they had got away with there shenigans and borrowed money just before the share holders revolt l reckon it would be finished for us ordinary folk.
