I agree with you about the state of the industry however. No one wants to hold the management of company's to account for failure. The industry never learns from failure, keeps rewarding profligate spending. CR after CR after CR after CR.....shareholders of all these mobs let themselves be bled out.....then maybe one-day they do a consolidation if they get well over a billion on issue. The fat cats at the top are laughing!!
Look at a basket case like BLK - total destruction of shareholder capital - from $1.20 to sub 10 cents - yet it's one of the most talked about (and talked up) stocks on HC. CR after CR after CR....you get the picture. WPG the same...massive chat it was going to take off: it didn't. TRY another one that tanked. BDR also. Turkey after turkey after turkey.
We accept mediocrity and are cynical....so is it any wonder that management and boards of these companies are often macho mediocrities with laughable integrity.
