The issue deep down- is that the apple cart has not been upset . The original trial was destined for 30mg of drug twice daily - the FDA stepped in and for those of you sharp enough to notice this trial has been for 10mg once daily - I wrote to Bill about this and he was kind enough to reply.

The only risk is that efficacy will not be demonstrated - I believe ( IMHO ) that safety is done and dusted.

The company I HOPE can demonstrate some form of efficacy - and safety - thereafter the FDA will say ok phase 3 can be at a higher trial dose. The company will be looking for funding/partnership for this - and surely the company has to be worth min $150- $200m as we move into a phase 3.

As I say a risk remains (and it's real) that the lower dose of 10mg once daily has not improved cognition.
