Did a bit of reading and it looks like their loan book agreement requires the company to stay cashed up. They must be short of (or close to) the amount required to pay the bond back and comply with the agreement.
This doesn't really change the fundamentals so I think I'll buy in. Earnings must be on the lower side of guidance given that they didn't wait.
