    Is lithium Rare? It is not the most rare element thats for sure. It is finite however (non-renewable = unsustainable) Is it expensive? Currently around $5900/ton . Wood is $80/ton, Sugar is $2600/ton

    This is a list of elements that are more abundant than Lithium in the earths crust.
