I do appreciate your concerns as a non-holder, but I think people underestimate how expensive it is when you are doing business in China. I am not talking about the cheap labour rates in manufacturing, I refer to introducing a new brand into Chinese market. 40M seems a lot, but it costs 10M - 100M for a company to introduce its brand on one of the popular reality shows/TV series in China.
I won't be surprised if an another CR came out for marketing purpose in the near future, but sure, let's get CFDA done first.
