It is rubbish (in my humble opinion/analysis of course ). I can't find any argument in the report that stacks up - therefore I prefer to side with the (well respected) management team than give any credibility to an anonymous hack with an axe to grind. But ... I will be reading the company's response in detail!
I do think it'll cause some embarrassment in the media and certainly isn't good publicity for the brand. Wallet Wizard is a reasonable respectable/responsible offer in a market dominated by sharks (including the big banks with 20%+ credit card interest rates). They don't want to be associated with the sharks with the PayDay lender label - but ultimately that is part of their competition and they do sell the 'have it now' message to people who may not be able to afford things.
ASIC may end up being more interested in pursuing the authors of this note than CCP .... whatever did happen to the ANZ/Whitehaven email environmentalist/scammer?
