People have to realise that debt purchasers like CCP are good partners of the banks. Do you think they will be better off by refusing to fund firms that help improve their own liquidity?
CCP's main business is debt purchasing, which helps banks and their customers to shed their low quality loans. In a sense CCV is a refinancer of those loaded with low quality loans.
